The penultimate game of the Royals 2015/16 season is already here and the club will be out against Warwick this Sunday, not only looking to avenge the defeat they suffered earlier in the season, but to finish the year on a high and derail their host’s playoff ambitions.
So will there be love for the Royals on Valentine’s day? Or will they will be licking their wounds in defeat?
KEYS TO VICTORY
With more depth returning on offense, and a further two weeks of training in the books since their frustrating outing against Nottingham, the Royals attack is looking in a great position to keep up with the strong Warwick run game. If they can overcome a solid Wolves defensive front Worcester will look to emulate the ground success they achieved in the previous encounter.
Defensively they will have to band together and overcome the injury setbacks that have depleted this side of the ball all season long. They will have to rely on the offense to keep up with their opponents, but if the defense can notch up a few turnovers, setting up good field position, then the Royals will be definitely up for the fight.
THE OPPONENTS

Warwick Wolves are currently enjoying what could be their most successful season ever (5 - 1) they’ve done the double over the University of Nottingham, beaten NTU and now currently sit one win away from the top of the division. Their sights are set on the number one seed going into the playoffs, so the result on Sunday against the Royals is so crucial to this campaign.
WHAT HAPPENED LAST TIME?
Last time Worcester came so close to staging one of their biggest comebacks of all time, down 21 - 7 in the fourth quarter the Royals got the score back to within two points, but following a blocked punt Warwick finished off the tie, winning the game 27 - 19.
WHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN?
Worcester know that they can spoil the Warwick playoff party and restore some pride to their season taking one of the big scalps in the division. They will come out fighting and play with heart and will look to stay in the game as long as possible. If it gets to the fourth and the scores are close, don’t put it past the Royals causing a big upset and proving the experts wrong.
