ROYALS IN THE COMMUNITY

CLIC Sargent Charity Game

March 2016 saw The Royals extend their excellent charity and community efforts. This time it took the form of a charity match against former players in aid of cancer support charity CLIC Sargent, a charity close to the hearts of the Worcester Royals organisation.

The event was well received by the team and the wider community, helping raise just under £300 for the charity. The event was a great opportunity for the club to continue their mission and aspirations to give as much back to the community as possible.

Cancer Research UK

In November 2014 the Royals teamed up with Cancer Research UK and helped raise just under £400 through the sale of Special Branded T-Shirts in support of the charity and their teamate James Brennan.

This is an inititive that the Royals will look to continue in the future as they hope to increase their presence charity wise and in the local community.
Fundraiser/Charity Liftathon

In November 2014 the Royals hosted a Charity/Fundraiser Liftafon lifting over 125,000kgs in weight as a team through the means of squats, deadlifts and bench press.

The event was held to raise funds for the team and the Worcester Rag charity group.

This event was done in partnership with Mcdonalds Worcester.
