Freshers 2015 - What Do I Need To Know?

Saturday September 19th is the day you've all been waiting for. It is the day that the University of Worcester welcomes its latest crop of students ready to embark upon their next great adventure.
We'd like to personally congratulate you all on making it to the University of Worcester, and we hope that you have the best and most enjoybale time you possibly can.
If you're looking at joining a sports club or society during your studies, so why not let that be American Football with the Worcester Royals?
If being part of a competitive team offering attentive, hands on coaching, a solid strength and conditioning program and of course a passionate and exciting social calander, then we could be just what you're after.
How do you become a part of this? It's very simple:
Come along to the SU Sports and Activities Fair, on Wednesday September 23rd, where we'll be set up providing you with information on the club, the sport and answering any other questions you may have.
On Thursday September 24th the club will be holding a 'Team Meet', starting at 7:30pm, which will give you a chance to meet with the current group of Royals players and coaches. This will be a fantastic opportunity to learn more about our club and the sport of American Football.
Friday September 25th is the final date in the Royals freshers calendar with a scheduled 'Taster Session,' beginning at 3pm, where you can get your first hands on experience of American Football.
Rookie try-outs will be held in the week following Freshers with the date being released once training times for this year have been confirmed. More information will be provided about this event once the date is known.
