This week BUCS announced that their Universities American Football league will be moving from last years system of two tiers to three for the 2015/16 season.
Following Worcester's successful 2014/15 campaign they will find themselves playing in division 1, the second tier of BUCS american football, alongside Nottingham, NTU Renegades, Warwick Wolves and new opponents Staffordshire Stallions.

This new structure means that each time will face each other twice, both home and away, across all three tiers of the competition. This move is believed to have been made by BUCS to ensure that every team are playing a side of a similar level, resulting in more competitive matchups.
Last season the Royals finished fourth in the East Midlands division, behind Nottingham, Warwick and league winners NTU, with a total of 5 wins from 7 games.
